Collective agreement (UK): the CBA with a famous legal quirk
British searchers do not type "collective bargaining agreement" as often as Americans. They type "collective agreement." Coverage is about a quarter of employees. The twist: Trade Union and Labour Relations law presumes the union-employer deal is binding in honour only unless it says it is a contract.
